Friday, October 9th, 2026: Chihuahua breed seminar by Francesco Cochetti & Chihuahua handling seminar by Joe Borges (Espoo, Suomenoja)
Saturday, October 10th, 2026: Smooth coat Chihuahuas, Dinner & live music
Sunday, October 11th, 2026: Long coat Chihuahuas & Best In Show
Judges:
Anna Gudjonsdottir, Iceland: Long coat adult classes and smooth coat puppy classes
Anna Lena Angeria, Sweden: Smooth coat adult classes and long coat puppy classes
Both judges are reserve for each others.
Puppies (5-7 months & 7-9 months) and progeny classes can also be entered.
Judging begins at 10:00 AM
Entry Fees:
Registration by June 25th 2026:
• 1st dog: €38
• 2nd-3rd dog by the same owner: €32

4th dog and onwards by the same owner: €26

• Veterans over 10 years old at veteran class: €10
Breeder and progeny classes are free of charge and must be pre-registered via Showlink.
Registration from June 26 to September 10th 2026:
• €43 per dog
• 2nd-3rd dog by the same owner: €37
• 4th dog and onwards by the same owner: €31
• Puppies: €31
• Veterans: €31
• Veterans over 10 years old at veteran class: €15
Registration from September 11th to 17th €60/dog (online only).
Brace competition:

The Finnish Kennel Club’s Dog Show Regulations and complementary guidelines, vaccination regulations, anti-doping regulations apply. The exhibitor agrees to follow these when entering their dog to the show. More information on Finnish Kennel Club webpage https://www.kennelliitto.fi/en
Parking:
There are a few parking spots along the street, but they fill up quickly.
We recommend parking at Valtatie 26 Parking, 03600 Karkkila, which is 270 meters from the event location.
Unload your vehicle at Valurikatu 3, 03600 Karkkila.
There are a few disabled parking spaces near Konepajahalli.
For motorhome parking, please inquire at Tehtaan Hotelli. They have limited spots for motorhomes and caravans.

Additional Information:
Echinococcus treatment: Dogs entering Finland are required to have Echinococcus medication (exceptions: Norway, Malta, and Ireland). The treatment must be administered 1–5 days before entry into Finland while still abroad.

Progeny Classes in Breeds with Multiple Varieties
The following provisions apply to breeds in which the sire/dam may be of a different coat variety than the offspring.
A progeny class may be entered either in the same variety as the sire or dam, or in a different variety from that of the sire or dam.
Example: the dam is a Smooth-Coated Chihuahua and the offspring are Long-Coated Chihuahuas.
Only one progeny class may be entered per sire or dam at any one show.
Example: if a Smooth-Coated Chihuahua dam has four Smooth-Coated offspring and four Long-Coated offspring, only one of these groups may be presented in the progeny class competition.
This provision applies only to breeds whose varieties share the same basic breed number.
For example, the following combination is permitted:
FCI No. 218.1 Chihuahua, Smooth Coat
FCI No. 218.2 Chihuahua, Long Coat
Judging Arrangements
As a general principle, the progeny class shall be judged on the day when the variety of the sire or dam is scheduled for judging at the show.
If the sire or dam is not entered at the show, the progeny class shall be judged on the day when the offspring’s variety is scheduled for judging.
No specific show regulation governs the order of judging. Show organizers are therefore encouraged to arrange the judging schedule in the manner that best supports the efficient and smooth running of the event.
